Some DOs And DON'Ts For Photographers At The Time Of COVID-19 Outbreak
Due to the coronavirus outbreak, most of us are working from home, but that is not possible for each and every person to go and complete his/her task as usual while sitting at home. And one of the best examples of this is a Wedding Photographer. Photographers are not only just facing problems now because of the lockdown but they also got their earlier shoots canceled due to the virus outbreak.
So to help photographers in quarantine, we here at The Wedding Studio have brought some major DOs and DON'Ts for you to follow
And here are 5 things that you should definitely DO:
1. Maintain Social distancing
Doesn't matter if you are a photographer who has to be social with all their clients for business, in this case, you have to maintain a social distance with your social circle. We are not suggesting you break all ties with your clients, just keep a physical distance with all the people and keep in touch with your clients by calls.
2. Clean Your Gear
As you are a photographer, our equipment has been everywhere. Hence you need to cleanse it the way that it is free from all the bacteria and viruses that can be harmful to you.
3. Go Over Your Business Tactics
With this time on your hands, you can learn new ways to make a brand image for yourself. This can be done by Digital and Social Media Marketing.
4. Wash Your Hands
Including all the preventive measures that you can take, washing your hands frequently is the best way to prevent yourself from COVID - 19.
5. Take a Moment
This social distancing and isolation can really have a bad effect on our mental health. So to counter that, you need to relax and be calm. The best option is not to think about it much. You can connect with your friends and family at the time of lockdown.
And here are some of the things that you should definitely avoid;
1. Go Into Public Places
This is the first big mistake that you can make at this crucial time when coronavirus is spreading quickly. So whatever you do, try and stay indoors and avoid going out. The only time you should go out is to get essential for the house.
2. Share Equipment
Don't let other people use your equipment as this just makes your cameras more exposed to the possibility of carrying a virus on their surface. The fewer the people touch your equipment, the better.
3. Ignore Clients
Maintaining social distancing doesn't mean that you should start ignoring your clients whatsoever. You always have to maintain a dialogue with them so that you can easily get back to work with them once the pandemic ends.
4. Be Overwhelmed
This can lead to your business coming to a halt, which is a good enough reason for you to be overwhelmed. But we suggest you take this time and talk to your family. The best way to get through the lockdown is being relaxed.
Hence, there were some DOs and DON'Ts that you definitely need to follow. And if you are someone who is looking for some ideas and inspirations for a wedding shoot, you can check out our site The Wedding Studio.
